Learn about Golden's rich history. Located in the heart of downtown Golden, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Golden Welcome Center (GWC) offers local advice on attractions, restaurants, and things to do during your visit to Golden. Our front office volunteers are very knowledgeable and want nothing more than to help you enjoy the area.  The lobby of the GWC is stuffed full of brochures, maps, publications and helpful information about not only local attractions, but also those throughout Colorado.  We also have a small gift shop with Golden-themed memorabilia and apparel.
